At Grand Prairie, we strongly believe in creating a learning experience where children can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Our mission is to help each child build a bright future by fostering a joyful, healthy, and safe environment where every student feels valued and supported. This year, our school's theme is "Building Bright Futures," inspired by the creativity, collaboration, and endless possibilities that LEGO represents. We are excited to embark on another year of learning, growing, and building together!
Our staff is dedicated to using current, research-based instructional practices across all content areas. Students will build skills in critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication as they explore, create, and solve problems together. Just like every LEGO brick plays an important role in building something amazing, every child is an important piece of our learning community. Our dedicated team of educators is committed to helping each student build confidence, reach new heights, and create a strong foundation for future success.
At Grand Prairie, we are committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment where every child feels seen, heard, and celebrated. Students have many opportunities to develop their character as they learn the difference between "expected behavior" and "unexpected behavior," explore their emotions, and build empathy through The Zones of Regulation. Our staff actively recognizes students who demonstrate respect, responsibility, and kindness. Your child may even come home with a Master Builder award for making positive choices and helping make Grand Prairie a stronger community, one brick at a time.
