Transportation

Frankfort School District 157-C partners with Lincoln Way 210 Transportation to provide exceptional bus service for families. Our drivers strive to safely transport students within a timely manner.

Bus routes are designed by Lincoln Way 210 and adjusted by Frankfort 157-C every year. Drivers do their best to ensure they are running their routes according to scheduled times, however, unexpected delays often occur on the routes. Notifications will be sent to families affected by delays on the routes. Please note the following:

• Students are strongly encouraged to be present at the bus stop at least 5-minutes before their scheduled pickup time
• Drivers can be up to 10-minutes late past the scheduled pickup time
• Students must be waiting at their assigned pickup/drop off locations
• Students are assigned one bus route for both morning and afternoon
• Students must follow all rules when riding the bus - please see the rules and expectations attached below.

Transportation Changes

If you would like to change your students bus stop location, have a change in childcare, or have a safety concern, please fill out the transportation request form. When filling out the form, please consider the below criteria:

• Transportation to/from Kindercare or Prairie Care
• Transportation to/from an existing or alternative stop/route
• Student is walking more than:
• K-2: 0.3 miles (3 city blocks)
• 3-5: 0.4 miles (4 city blocks)
• 6-8: 0.5 miles (5 city blocks)
• Unable to walk safely due to new safety hazard (home construction, road work)
