Please join us for the first Tiger University of the school year! The topic is "Supporting Parents with Use of AAC Devices". Tiger University will be held on Tuesday, September 24 from 5:30–6:30 pm at Chelsea Intermediate School.

Grand Prairie students have reached their first fundraising goal of $2,000 for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF)!

Over 125 students at HCMS have been working hard on this year's musical. The show is colorful, high energy, and fun for all ages!

The annual Pack the Pantry food drive at Grand Prairie was a HUGE success! Thanks to the generosity of the families at Grand Prairie, we donated over 1,775 items to the Frankfort Food Pantry. Our young learners are so happy to be BIG leaders in the Frankfort community.

Chelsea students and families raised over $21,000 for the American Heart Association (AHA) during their jump rope unit. Thank you for your generosity! To date, Chelsea families have raised almost $2,000,000 for the AHA!

It is time to register all incoming Kindergarten and new students for the 2024-2025 school year! Registration will be held Wednesday, March 4 through Wednesday, March 22. All new student and Kindergarten registrations will be conducted by appointment at our District Office. Please call 815-469-5922 to schedule an appointment as soon as possible.

“The annual Illinois 5Essentials Survey is now open! The survey is a tool that provides important information for our district to learn what’s working and what needs improvement.

Chelsea third graders recently participated in the annual biography wax museum. Each student selected a famous person and read the “Who Is/Was” series book about that person. Students took the information they learned to create a two-minute speech about the person they researched and then presented it to family and their peers.

Congratulations to the 6th grade boys basketball team and Coach Ziemba! They finished second place at the DPVC tournament over the weekend. The future looks bright for boys basketball at HCMS! Thank you to Coach Ziemba and special shout out to Taylor Boyle for organizing and hosting a great tournament.
