Registration Information
New student registration must be done in person, by appointment only. To make an appointment contact the District Registrar, Mrs. Chris Brooks 815-806-4001. Questions regarding the registration process can also be directed to Mrs. Brooks via email at [email protected]. Children who will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2026, are eligible for kindergarten.
Returning Student Registration for the 2026-2027 School Year: The district is currently preparing for the 2026-2027 returning student registration process. A letter with your child's individualized registration code will be mailed to district households in the coming weeks. If you do not receive a letter by April 15, 2026, please contact Mrs. Brooks via email at [email protected]. Current Speech or Project BEGIN Students are considered returning students and will receive registration information for the 2026-2027 school year in the mail.
Residency Verification for Returning StudentsNew Student Registration
Please call the District Office at 815-469-5922 to schedule a registration appointment.
- Certified legal birth certificate
- Proof of Residency (documents from all three categories required)
Category I – Photo Identification
Category II – One document required showing parent/legal guardian’s name and address
- Current monthly mortgage statement
- Current signed and dated lease agreement
- Most recent property tax bill
- Closing documents of recent purchase
- Residency Attestation Form (If parent/guardian is not the owner or lease holder of student residence.)
Category III – One document required showing parent/legal guardian’s name and address
- Current utility bill (within the last billing cycle, 30 days) - electric, gas water and/or waste
- Current homeowner or renter insurance policy statement
- Vehicle registration
