Hickory Creek recently held pink out basketball games to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Students were encouraged to wear pink and take photos at the photo booth.

At the October 20 Board of Education meeting, several of the athletic teams from Hickory Creek were honored for their State performances.
Hickory Creek cross country runners are heading to State on Saturday! The girls team placed 2nd overall at Sectionals at Martino over the weekend and will compete as a team.
Hickory Creek was recently ranked 10 in U.S. World and News Report’s list of Best Illinois Middle Schools. U.S. News and World Report determined the rankings by looking at student proficiency and performance in math and reading.
Varsity Girls Cross Country finished in 3rd place and Varsity Boys Cross Country finished in 4th place at the Channahon Invite over the weekend. Great job, Tigers!
The varsity girls softball team finished second in the IESA 3A Softball Tournament held in Normal, IL.

Hickory Creek sent twelve golfers to the IESA Golf Sectionals: Harper Wu, Lizzie Sambo, Sadie Martinez Garcia, Sophia Klapper, Elizabeth Burfiend, Becca Brewer, Jonathan Skopek, Colin Bettenhausen, Alex Hartman, Evan Riiff, Quinn Watson, and Antonio Owens.
The varsity softball team defeated Homewood Hart 16-0 on Saturday, September 18 to earn the sectional championship title!
Chelsea student Luke He participated in the United States Engineering League Illinois Conference Cup and took home two trophies! He placed 5th in the World Robot Olympiad and 4th in the SumoBot LEGO divisions. Way to go, Luke!
