About Me

Hello Chelsea Students and Families! I am Mrs. Zito and I am thrilled to be teaching music at Chelsea School. I was the music teacher at Grand Prairie from the fall of 2005 through the spring of 2011. I began teaching at Chelsea in the fall of 2011 and have been here ever since. My primary instrument is my voice and my secondary instrument is piano. I began studying music at the age of 5. 

 

I am so lucky to be able to share music with students every day! We will spend each day reading rhythms of various levels, playing instruments (real and virtual), creating compositions, and listening to music in a way that allows students to develop the language needed to describe what they are hearing.
