On this web page you will find a weekly schedule for each subject and a general outline for instruction. Weekly homework can also be found towards the bottom of the page. Please keep in mind that instruction & homework may vary or change throughout the week based on the student's needs and understanding, but I always do my best to update this information when needed. Students will be writing their homework assignments in their assignment notebooks daily. I look forward to a great year!

Please remind your child to bring their homework workbook to school every day after they complete the assigned workbook pages. Their homework workbook will be brought back and forth between school and home each day. We will be going over homework daily, so it's important that they bring it to school.
Essential Question~ "How do people inspire change in others?"
Quarter 4
Q4 Essential Question "How do people inspire change in others?". Students will be able to independently use their learning to read closely and analytically to comprehend a range of increasingly complex literary and informational texts written in diverse formats for various tasks, audiences, and purposes to build strong content knowledge and continually consider what impact change has on society.
We will be reading various texts by the author Patricia Polacco. We will be focusing on comparing and contrasting, theme, and story elements.
We will be starting opinion writing.
Essential Question: What shapes our economy?
We will be starting our new unit this week which focuses on the value of money.
No science this week :)
