All About Mrs. Roney

Welcome to the 4th Grade!

 

My name is Mrs. Andrea Roney, and this is my 12th year teaching 4th grade at Chelsea Elementary School.  Not only do I have a degree in Elementary Education, but I also have a Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Iowa.  I grew up in Iowa and moved to Illinois after I was married 23 years ago!  My husband, Justin, and I have two children, Brianna and Jackson, as well as dogs Chloe and Shelby.  Brianna is heading to Illinois State University this year to study Early Childhood Education and Jackson will be a Sophomore at Andrew High School.  Our family enjoys traveling and watching sports together...especially hockey and baseball, for which Jackson plays both!

On my own free time I love to read mystery books, put together puzzles, and play games on my phone!  I look forward to sharing more about myself and learning about you this year!
