Class Expectations

  • This year we will be using CHAMPS across Team 8B.  Students will have behavior expectations for each lesson set at the beginning of class.  
  • Students are expected to come to class prepared, ready to learn, and participate in daily group work.
  • Students will be working at whiteboards daily and they are expected to work with the group they are assigned by following our groupwork rubric (attached below)
  • Students are required to do 20 minutes of math work daily outside of school. This includes finishing assigned work from class (referred to as Check Your Understanding) and/or working on PLT boards.  
  • If your student cannot find the PLT board handed out in class, there is a copy in class notebook that can be printed from home.
  • Remind app will be set up for each class. Please see instructions attached below for how to set up. Students should be downloading this on their phones for any important reminders I send out and parents are welcome to as well.
