  • I can identify the initial, medial, and final position in words. 
  • I can tell if a grapheme is a vowel or a consonant. 

Writing 

W 1.2 Write informative/explanatory pieces with an introduction, support, and closure. 

  •  I can write informative/explanatory pieces about a topic with facts about the topics and a sense of closure. 

W 1.3 Write narrative s in which they recount two or more appropriately sequenced events, include some details regarding what happened, use temporal words to signal even order, and provide some sense of closure. 

 

  •  I can write a narrative piece with at least 2 events in sequential order.
