About Me

Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Ms. Bettinardi and I am so excited to be your child's Kindergarten teacher this year! This is my fourth year teaching and my second year teaching kindergarten at Grand Prairie!
 
Please check our class page often as it will be updated weekly. My primary mode of communication will be through the class webpage, emails, and Seesaw. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me with ANY questions you might have!
 
*Specials do NOT occur every Mon., Tue., etc.... Instead, they'll fall on a T, I, G, E, or R day.  When we're off school, it's a NO LETTER day.*

Erin’s Law 2020-2021

We are required by Erin's Law to provide lessons on sexual abuse and prevention education. During the weeks of November 16th and January 25th, Grand Prairie Elementary School Social Workers will be teaching a lesson in your child’s classroom about the "Think First and Stay Safe" program. The lesson in November will cover the concepts of "Using My Built In Computer: Staying Healthy and Safe." The lesson in January will cover "Laws Help Protect Me: Kids Have Rights Too!" and "Listening to My Instincts: No Secrets".

 

Should your child have any questions, you may refer to the handout that will be provided to them on the day of the lesson. If you have additional questions feel free to contact a School Social Worker – Morgan Bilthuis, Rebekah Munch and Kelly McGovern
