Welcome to STEM!

Welcome to STEM GP Families!  This is my third year teaching STEM and I am super excited to share all that I have planned with your students!  I have been teaching at Grand Prairie since 2004.  I've taught Kindergarten, Music, and Second Grade!  I have two daughters.  Kaitlyn is a freshman at LWE and Kaylee is in 5th grade at Chelsea.  In my free time, I love to travel and do home improvement projects. 

 

This year students will be engaged in many hands-on activities in addition to working on computers/ipads. We will spend time focusing on the engineering process- ask, imagine, plan, create, and improve, as well as learn about coding and typing.
