Classroom Focus
Arrival and Dismissal
We continue to work on classroom routines when entering the classroom in the morning and packing up for dismissal. Step by step directions on what to do are always on the front PowerPoint. It should be followed very easily.
Dismissal can be a bit crazy but the reminders are again on the board. The students can look at the checklist of what to unpack or pack up and what to have out for class.
Homework / Assignment Notebook
We need to focus on bringing these items home and then returning them each day. Too many kids are forgetting multiple time a week. I will be keeping track of missing homework to hopefully help us improve.
Talking
Too much random talking during lessons and work time continue to happen. We have many great examples of hardworking students but we need more students to help us out.
Students will get a check by their name when they talk or make a poor choice. Three checks in a day will result in a REFLECTION. Hopefully we will see improvement.

We are on finishing up lesson 40 on Monday. We will begin the summative on Tuesday and Finish on Thursday if needed.
The Study guide should be finished and returned on Monday.
We will spread the summative out a little longer due to IAR ELA testing during the week.
We are also reviewing old skills and doing mini-lessons this week to prepare for the IAR testing.
Please keep up on all homework. Fractions are a very long module and each day builds on the previous day. Students need to stay focused and on top of all lessons.
