2025 - 2026 School Year

5th grade

We are now into the second half of the school year, and my personal favorite part of fifth grade! It is the best time for growth and learning as students begin to hit their stride. This quarter, we begin with literature standards with a focus on structure of stories and poems. We will also work hard to compare multiple texts in the same genre with similar themes and topics. We have already begun our novel, Walk Two Moons. Make sure to ask your child about the characters and the suspense that is building!
