2024 - 2025 School Year
Welcome!
To Kick off fourth quarter, we worked on building up some background on the Industrial Revolution, an important period of time in American history when factories were springing up and many different machines were being invented. This important period is the setting of our final novel, Counting on Grace, by Elizabeth Winthrop. We will begin reading our novel upon our return from Spring Break. Although the novel is fiction, there are many bits of non-fiction incorporated throughout, which we will focus on as we continue to work our way through the informational text standards for the first half of the quarter. The last four weeks of the quarter will be spent focusing on literature standards as we compare and contrast multiple texts in the same genre.
This quarter, my homeroom students will be participating in music class.

E-Learning Plan
In the event of the need to call an e-learning day, we will be utilizing the schedule located at the bottom of my page. E-learning days will only be called if we have fair warning of severe inclement weather and have time to send students home with all their materials and devices.
