Dear Students,
I am looking forward to working with you this year. This year will be my 23rd year of teaching and 18th year in District 157c. A little bit about myself... I have been married for 22 years to my husband Roger, we have two beautiful girls Hanna (18) and Kaitlyn (15). We have two dogs (Maverick) that we adopted from PAWS on May 12, 2024 and "Goose" our Doberman puppy. We live on a horse farm with, 6 chickens, 1 Duck (Spice), 2 Beehives, and 24 horses that board at our farm. As you can tell we are true animal lovers.
I have been teaching ELA my entire career. My favorite series of books are of course the Harry Potter series by JK Rowling. I even have floating candles in my classroom. It's MAGICAL... I hope to inspire all of you to love reading.
