Course Description
May 22- June 7th
ELA Reading: Novel study "A Long Walk To Water" comprehension questions, journal responses, vocabulary
Self- Selected Reading: Each student will be assigned a job to complete about the section they will read for "Book Talks" and discuss in class. Students will meet daily to review the chapters and their jobs in class the next day.
ELA Writing: Memoir unit- We will be writing our memoirs using Bookcreator. We will practice editing and revising in class.
ELA Grammar: Vocabulary
Word Study: review games and testing
*There will not be anymore weekly spelling tests for word study.
*Library ended this week. If there are any library books to return, please do so before the end of the year.
