I am delighted to welcome you to my teacher page for the 2025-2026 school year. Your presence here is sincerely appreciated. I am deeply committed to your child's social and emotional learning, which is my passion. I firmly believe that social and emotional development during middle school is essential for all students to reach their fullest potential and live fulfilling lives.

A Little About Me

I live with my husband, Mike; my 14-year-old son, Jaxon; and our adorable sheepadoodle, Rocco. I bring a diverse background in Social Work, with experience ranging from community mental health to supporting individuals with traumatic brain injuries. However, the most significant aspect of this experience is that it has continually guided me back to my primary motivation for becoming a Social Worker: working with children.

This marks my 18th year as a School Social Worker and my fifth year serving the Frankfort School District 157C community. I am genuinely delighted to be in this position, collaborating with the amazing and dedicated children and families in our school district.

As one of three Social Workers at HCMS, I will primarily focus on supporting the 6th graders this school year. If you have any concerns regarding your child's social and emotional learning, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I look forward to a fun, positive, and memorable school year ahead.
