Mrs. DiFiore- 6th Grade Social Worker
Hello Students and Parents!
Welcome to my teacher page and the 2022-2023 school year!! I am so happy that you are here!! I am absolutely dedicated to your child's social/emotional learning, it's my passion and I believe whole heartedly that social/emotional learning during middle school, is imperative to all students reaching their fullest potential, while living their best and happiest lives.
A little about me- I live with my husband Mike, son, Jaxon (11) and dog, Rocco (the cutest sheepadoodle ever)! I have a vast array of Social Work experience that spans from community mental health, to supporting individuals with traumatic brain injuries. But what is most important about this experience, is that they have all led me back to the reason I became a Social Worker, children!
This is my 14th year as a School Social Worker, and my 2nd year serving the Frankfort School District, 157c community! I could not be happier to be exactly where I am, working with the incredible and passionate children and families in our school district!
I am one of three Social Workers at HCMS, and I work primarily with the 6th graders.
