Erica Mainor ~ Special Education Resource

Welcome to the 2025~2026 school year!  My name is Erica Mainor and I am so excited for my second year as one of the special education resource teachers at Chelsea Intermediate School. This year, I have the privilege of working with both fourth and fifth grade students.

 

I am a graduate of both Depaul University and Concordia University with master's degrees in special education and special education leadership.  In addition, I hold a bachelor's degree in communications from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!).  This will be my 18th year as a special education teacher.  I am also a wife and mom of three (3rd grade, 7th grade, and 9th grade).  When I'm not teaching, you can often find me being staying busy as a dance mom, an Uber mom (always driving my crew somewhere), and planning events!  I love to read and enjoy curling up with a good book!

 

I am so looking forward to getting to know my students, and their families, this school year.  I am a true believer that collaboration is key to student success and can't wait to work together to see growth and progress in the students this school year!
