About Me

Hello!  This is my 4th year teaching at Grand Prairie Elementary, and I am thrilled to be here. I have been teaching Special Education for 16 years. Before taking time to raise my four children, I taught preschool special education in LaGrange, IL and primary special education (grades 1-3) in New Lenox.

 

I graduated from Illinois State University with a bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology followed by a master's degree in special education from Northern Illinois University.

 

Outside of school, I am a busy mom of four amazing kids, a precocious yellow lab and a newly adopted cat. I enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, baking, movies, walking the trail and cheering on my kids in all their sports and hobbies.  

 

I look forward to partnering with parents and staff to make this the best year yet, for all my students!
