Middle school students in Mrs. Grady’s ELA class created a poster with handwritten notes from each student. “Happy 100th birthday! You deserve it and you’re the best! I hope your day is filled with lots of laughter and joy. Wishing you the best day ever!” Clodagh wrote. Another card read, “Let’s celebrate! HCMS and the Frankfort community is wishing you a very happy birthday! I hope you have an amazing day.”
Other students decorated cards with drawings of birthday cakes, balloons, cats with birthday hats, and fireworks. “You should be very proud of yourself. You make my heart shine. You are so very nice to others”, a first grader wrote. “You are the best because you are 100” read another. A card from a second grader read, “Happy Birthday! You must be very proud to be 100 years old. I could not imagine all the fun things you’ve done. I wish I could live to 100.”Frankfort 157-C hopes that the well wishes from the students make Mrs. Johnson’s birthday a little brighter and that she will treasure them for years to come.
