The District's preschool program provides services to students ages 3 to 5 who may experience a delay in areas of speech-language, motor, social-emotional, adaptive functioning, and/or cognitive functioning. The preschool program, Project B.E.G.I.N., is a half day program at Grand Prairie Elementary School.

If you have concerns about your child’s development before the age of 3, please contact Early Intervention. Early Intervention is a statewide program that provides supports and services for families to help children less than 36-months old meet developmental milestones. Child & Family Connections (CFC #15) services families who live in Will, Grundy, Kankakee, or LaSalle Counties. Contact a referral coordinator at 815-768-3730 for more details.
