Week of: May 18, 2020

We made it to the end of the year together.  And perhaps that is the greatest lesson we have learned this year.  When we put our minds together we can get through anything.

Our homeroom class zoom will take place Wednesday 1:00-1:20.  Look for the Zoom link sent to you Wednesday Morning.

NEWS FROM THE LIBRARY:
Please be prepared to return all library books and audio books to the school library when you come to pick up your child's / children's materials in June.  Mrs. Meszaros will email families by the end of May with a list of materials that are checked out to your children.  If you have any questions you can email her at emeszaros@fsd157c.org.

Great job completing the work in OneNote, I have enjoyed reading your work and offering you feedback on every assignment!

Access to weekly plans will continue to be on the district's HOME page, click on "Extended School Closure Lesson Plans due to COVID 19."

If you have any question or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me. I will be updating my teacher page regularly so check back often. Thank you for always supporting our efforts.

None of these activities will be graded, and are being offered as a way to continue learning during the weeks ahead.

Second Step Program

The Second Step Program is about knowing how to learn and how to get along with others.  Throughout the year, you can go on the Home Links that go with several of the Second Step lessons.  They are simple, fun activities for you and your child to complete together.  They are a great way for you to understand what your child is learning and for your child to show you what he or she knows.  We are currently on Lesson 1 and it focuses on Empathy and Respect. Having respect and empathy helps you get along with others. See the downloads section for the optional homework lessons
