Dear Families,

Happy Last Day of School!  We want to thank you for your extraordinary support and effort during our  school year.  This is not the ending we envisioned when it is time to say goodbye.  We loved working with your child and truly missed seeing them throughout our final weeks.  Each child in our class holds a special place in our hearts, and we look forward to seeing them in the hallways next year to say hello or hear what is happening in their lives. Keep an eye out for a mailed card saying our goodbye to your child!

STATE FLOAT

This link will take you to our Fourth Grade State Float padlet.  Take a look at the work submitted across our grade level.  Students have done a terrific job on their projects.   https://padlet.com/mwilliamson04/folq0xosrnmpnjhw

SUMMER RESOURCES

I've attached available resources for summer activities if your family is interested. It is completely optional, however, it's created specific to 4th grade and would be an excellent way to reinforce skills learned this year.   ReadWorks offered articles, comprehension questions, and an answer key for incoming fifth graders. These files are attached to this email.  All online student accounts will remain available for student use over the summer.  Additionally, look for more information and activities in July for our "One Book, One Summer" opportunity.  The novel is The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane by Kate DiCamillo.  The copy will be found in the student supply box. We hope you join us in reading the book!
