Grades 3, 4, and 5: 9:05AM - 3:30PM
Early Dismissal: 12:05 p.m.

We made it to the last week of Remote Learning! I hope you all have enjoyed the lessons we have sent to you!  I am so incredibly proud of each of you! I can not begin to tell you how grateful I am for all your hard work throughout the year. You have each shown how we are Chelsea Strong & how much we all Love our Chelsea Family!

It has been so wonderful seeing and speaking with each one of you on Zoom! I have a smile that lasts all day! Don't forget to check email for the link to this Tuesday's Classroom Zoom! This will be our last Classroom Zoom of the school year. I hope to see you on Tuesday from 10:00-10:20.

I am looking forward to seeing you and to be able to say Goodbye!

I will continue to post Virtual Lesson Plans each week. The plans for May 18th-22nd can be found in the downloads section.

These resources will be available on the district main site, but we are encouraging our families to continue to visit our teacher websites. In the downloads section, you will find the weekly PowerPoints with the links in a more student friendly layout. All the PowerPoints will be labeled with the date so you can follow along each week or revisit activities that were missed.

We highly encourage students to participate in these learning activities when possible. Some of the learning will be new concepts and topics we have not learned before. In these cases, video lessons will be made available for students so they can learn at their own pace. The fourth grade teachers are working hard to ensure the activities mirror what would normally be happening in our classrooms at this time while also understanding that this situation is not school. Our goal is that the activities are approachable, meaningful, and as engaging as they can be for students.

I will be updating the grade book in which all students will receive an “RL Pass” for the third quarter. I will be entering their mid-module 6 math tests so students can see their score, as many were asking before we left school. We took this test before the school closure, but I was waiting to put the scores in pending further guidance from the district. I have been instructed to put in all scores for the third quarter and manually override the grades to RL Pass.

Dear Parents,

Today I was able to inventory materials that were checked out or loaned to your child prior to our last day together in school.  In an attempt to try and recover any materials that were on loan I have created a list for you.  Your child may have the following materials/supplies at home:

 Science Textbooks

Social Studies Textbooks

Reading Textbooks

Chelsea School Library Books & Shared Library Books

Classroom Library Books

Please bring the materials with you to school when you come to pick up your student box of supplies that were left behind from this school year.  Information will be shared with parents when the pick up/drop of supplies will be. Be on the lookout for that communication from Dr. Zinni.

Ms DeAngelis

The Fourth Grade Teachers have compiled resources for you in the Downloads tab of this webpage.  All begin with "Closure Activity".  The letter to parents and packet of information is coming home with students and also posted.

Your student should have the passwords they need inside their assignment books, as well as the new copies I gave them today.  However, if you are having trouble with log ins, or you do not have their passwords, please email me- I can try ti help you access the information you need.   Also, do not hesistate with any questions, share projects, or just say hello- I'll miss those kiddos the next few weeks!

Any work that is done at home will not be graded, and is meant to stimulate and reinforce all the hard work we've done so far.  Stay healthy and enjoy your time with family the next few weeks.

Virtual Lesson Plans:

  •  Please look in the downloads section of my website. There are files named Virtual Lesson Plans April 6-10th. April 10th is not a school day. If you download these PDFs,  you will have a daily outline for the week. As a PDF, all the hyperlinks are active. Everyone in my homeroom now has a "Freckle" account.  You will need this for a few of the assignments.  Here is how you can get to Freckle:

1. Go to

2. Class Code: 6VNXRZ

3. Type your first name and last initial in boxes given.

Epic Learning-see link in downloads section. Class code

If you need help accessing anything, please send me a message. Please know these activities are just suggestions, not required. If you don't finish an activtity in one day, feel free to come back to it later.

  •  Also, in the downloads tab, there are Module 1, 2, 3 reviews.  These can be printed or written out if you do not have access to a printer.  I highly suggest doing these throughout the week to gain repetition with skills we worked so hard to master this year.  I would do one Monday, Wednesday, and Friday to be consistent.

Assignments from previous weeks will also be available in my downloads tab, you can always go back and try the ones you did not do.

The PE and Encore Teachers also posted activities on their websites. Be sure to take a look!

Beginning in August the students in my class will participate in benchmark screenings provided by Fast Bridge Learning. Fast Bridge is District 157C’s universal screening instrument. This assessment will be administered in the fall, winter and spring to help teachers determine which students are likely to meet the end of the year learning goals, which students may require intervention and help to determine advanced and honors placements for the following school year. This computer based assessment measures performance in reading and math.
