Geography Club 2023-2024
Are you wondering about the Geography Club?
- If you are interested in the world’s geography and cultures, world economics, nature, etc. you may be interested in joining this club. The club is open to students in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade.
- The club meets from 2:20-3:15 on Thursdays during December through February.
- We will use an assortment of activities including Kahoot It!s, Board Games, Gimkit, etc. to learn more about the world.
- Although National Geographic is not sponsoring the National Geography Bee this year, Hickory Creek will still have an in-house competition for the top eight students as selected from a preliminary test. If you are interested in joining Scholastic Bowl, the information learned in this club will carry over to the next!!
- Stop by my room 2818 for a permission slip, or send me your name in a chat and I will add you to the team where you can access a form to print at home.
- Practice Dates: December 7, 14. January 11, 18, 25. February 1,
- GEOBEE Feb. 8th @ 4pm. The location is TBD, but at Hickory Creek Middle School.
