Welcome to the HCMS library!

The Hickory Creek Middle School Library supports and enriches district curriculum by providing current and popular fiction and non-fiction books, graphic novels, manga, e-books and audio books.

By doing so, we hope to encourage students to become independent readers, critical thinkers, and competent researchers in a rapidly changing technological society.

Destiny Discover is the library's database of books, ebooks, Playaways and audio CD's. Search for your next great read by title, author, subject, keyword or series! Login to access your personal account and place or delete holds, see check-outs and due dates and review books. Login through MyClassLinks.

SORA is our school's database for e-books and audio books. Students can login through MyClassLinks and read or listen to books on a computer. Add the free app to your phone or other device to have access to your borrowed books on that device, too. And don't forget to link your public library card to your school account to access their audio/ebook database as well! (No adult materials accessible)

HCMS CF WALK

We will walk again this year for those living with CF. Will you help us?

Students at HCMS will be asked, “How can we help others in need?” and participate in SEL lessons to learn more about CF and helping others, throughout the month of May. At the end of this month, they will walk the track in honor of those living with and fighting this disease. There is a school-wide page that was set up to help raise funds for the HCMS team with all proceeds going directly to the CF Foundation. Check the link below for more information and thank you in advance for your donation! Our school-wide goal this year is to raise $10,000.

Your tax-deductible donation will go directly to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to fund lifesaving research.
