8th Grade ELA with Mrs. O'Hea

For the 2023-2024 school year, I am co-teaching two sections of eighth grade ELA with Mrs. Drozd, as well as teaching an eighth grade specialized instruction ELA class. I enjoy working with my wonderful students.

Dear Students,

I believe in you. I am here for you. I expect great things. I love your uniqueness. I will NEVER give up on you. You are listened to. Your opinion matters. You are important. You're a winner. You will succeed. We'll have a wonderful year together.

Love,

Mrs. O'Hea

Reminder to parents about our class library:

In an effort to build passionate readers, we continue to build classroom libraries in which students have choice over the texts they select. There may be books in libraries that are identified by publishers as “young adult” due to the fact that our students are young adults. With that being said, “young adult” books are considered appropriate for up to 18 years of age. Please discuss with your children any parameters that you would like for them to follow as they choose texts from our classrooms.
