About Me

Hi! I am Mrs. Kora.

I teach 2nd grade in the purple community.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. I have a Master of Education degree in Reading and Literacy for a reading specialist from Benedictine University. I am also a graduate of Mokena and Lincoln-Way East.

Favorite animal: Dogs - I have a puggle-bull named Wyatt.

Favorite color: Blue

Favorite sport: Volleyball

Favorite book: Jumanji ( and many many others that I love sharing with my students!)

Favorite subject: Science

Favorite drink: iced coffee

Favorite candy: gummies

My family: I have a husband, two kids (ages 2 and 4), and a dog. My family and I love spending time outdoors and going on walks. We also love going to the library, beach, zoo, and getting ice cream! :)
