Welcome to my teacher webpage!

My name is Mr. Connolly and this will be my 10th-year teaching Physical Education and Health at Hickory Creek Middle School. In PE and Health, my goal is to educate our students to develop healthy habits that will last a lifetime. Students will participate in a wide variety of fitness-related activities, sports units, and challenges that will increase their physical, social, and mental abilities, as well as teamwork and cooperation skills. ERIN'S LAW
Governor Pat Quinn signed Erin's Law in January of 2013, which requires all schools in the state of Illinois to provide age appropriate sexual abuse and assault awareness and prevention education programs for students in grades Pre-K through 12. In response to this legislation, our classroom presentation will be completed in Mr. Connolly, Mr. Ford, Ms. Rodgers, Mr. Purpura and Ms. Ziemba health classes on TBD date. All presentations and discussion will be age-appropriate using sensitivity and language to educate your child for increased safety.
