About Me

Welcome Tigers!

I am so excited for the 2023/2024 school year!  I am a 7th grade Special Education teacher, and you can find me co-teaching ELA with Ms. Dyokas this year.  I have an undergraduate degree in English with a minor in Political Science from Saint Xavier University, a Master's in Special Education from Saint Xavier University and endorsements in grades 5-8 ELA and Social Studies as well as a Driver's Education endorsement! I also have a Master's in Principal Leadership from Governors State University.

At Hickory Creek if you don't see me in the classroom, you can find me at the various athletic events that we host as I am the Athletic Director for Hickory Creek Middle School this year!

At home I have a husband and three kids who keep me busy as well as two dogs and three cats.  When I am not busy with my family or working out, you can find me with a good book or bingeing a Netflix show.

I can't wait to make this year the best one yet!
