The Chelsea School STEAM Night will be on Wednesday, February 28th with teacher led activities from 5:30-7:00. Students will surf the digital highway, stopping along
at STEAM apps and downloading information to their personal clouds.
Bring your family out to explore hands on activities revolved around Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics.
Earn apps after completing an activity for raffle tickets to win a fun filled basket of STEAM goodies. FSP will be hosting Book Fair and
Refreshments by Villa Rosa from 5:30-8:00

Casino Night is March 2, 2018. Please join this exciting event sponsored by the Education Foundation to raise money to fund teacher grants that will benefit all of our students. In fifth grade, the students participate in a nine lesson program that teaches them how to resist pressures that may influence them to experiment with alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. Upon completion of the program, students will have a special D.A.R.E. graduation. Parents will be invited to attend. You will receive notification of the date for the ceremony. Officer Riff and Officer Sroka are our instructors from the Frankfort Police Station.
Please encourage your child to practice their typing skills on the Typing Instructor link found under Student Resources within the Chelsea Intermediate School web page. These engaging activities will help them learn keyboarding skills that will build speed and accuracy in a fun and challenging way. The students are aware of their user name and password
ERIN'S LAW PRESENTATIONS
Governor Pat Quinn signed Erin's Law in January of 2013, which requires all schools in the state of Illinois to provide age appropriate sexual abuse and assault awareness and prevention education programs for their students in grades Pre-K through 12. In response to this legislation, Frankfort School District 157-C will be presenting, "Child Lures Prevention: Think First and Stay Safe", curriculum for the 2017-2018 school year. Our presentations will occur in November and January.
