Read for World Record- see download
This Week:
Reading- Read selected stories from reading series to discuss.
Read for a Scoop! Read a book, fill out the summary form and receive one part of a delicious sundae. We will celebrate our reading success by eating the sundaes created at the end of the year!
Language Arts- Mad Libbs to review the basic parts of speech.
Writing- Students will write an argumentative pieces using evidence from text to support their opinion.
Math- Please continue to practice math facts. Our class average for the 2 minute timing tests is 86%. We hope to be over 90% by the end of the year!
Measurement test will be on Wednesday. Be sure to review study guide.
We will review long multiplication and division.
Science- Students are recording their extreme weather/condition.
Research- Students are assembling their state floats this week.
Social Studies-
Students have finished their Photo Stories and will view them next week.
Please use the assignment book as our communication log. Feel free to email me at any time. It is important that we work together to make this year a success for your child.
