|Nicole Rutan - Kindergarten (Send e-mail)|
Welcome to Kindergarten! Our classroom is in the Green Community. I am super excited to be your child’s teacher this year! I cannot wait to meet everyone and start the year!
My teacher page will be updated often and important dates and reminders will be located here.
Each student has a Take-Home folder that will travel to and from school daily. Please check the folder nightly to ensure important papers and updates are being sent home. You can send any notes back to school in the folder.
I will be sending home a green fluency reading bag that will go home daily. For the first couple weeks, I will be putting books in the fluency bag not at your child’s level. For these books: read the book together, let your child pick out known letters/words, and talk about the book. Once we get into the swing of school, I will put leveled readers inside the bag.
***Specials do NOT occur every Monday, Tuesday, etc… Instead, they will fall on a T, I, G, E, or R day. When we are off of school, it is a NO LETTER day.
T day: PE and ELC
I day: PE
G day: PE and Art
E day: PE and Technology

We have PE every day! YAY! Please have gym shoes at school.
