Welcome to Spanish class!
We are very excited to begin our first unit, "We Are Chelsea." Students will start learning how to interact with their peers and teachers in Spanish (both inside and outside of the Spanish classroom). They will also learn how to describe basic features of Chelsea in Spanish. At the end of the unit, students will have an opportunity to compare their experience at Chelsea with that of a student in Spain.
This week, we will review past vocabulary (people in school, places at school, classes, etc.). We will also describe our school with a short writing activity.
At the end of the quarter, students will receive either a (+) or (-). A (+) demonstrates consistent student participation (active listening and and active use of Spanish in classroom).
