Our Mission Statement
Project B.E.G.I.N. is designed to promote parental involvement, early intervention, and partnership between home and school
Class times this school year are: 8:20-10:50 AM & 12:00-2:30 PM
PM Parents please remember to not open the gate during drop off when there are children on the playground. A preschool staff member will open the gate at 11:50pm.
As you know, we are now required by the new Erin's Law to provide lessons on sexual abuse and prevention education. In November Grand Prairie Elementary School Social Workers will be coming into our classroom to talk about the "Think First and Stay Safe" program. The lessons will cover the concepts of "Using My Built In Computer: Staying Healthy and Safe" and "Laws Help Protect Me: Kids Have Rights Too!", and "Listening to My Instincts: No Secrets". We will be reading the stories " Your Body Belongs To You” and “Some Parts are Not for Sharing.”
Should your child have any questions, you may refer to the handout that will be provided to them on the day of the lesson. If you have additional questions feel free to contact the Grand Prairie Social Workers.
