Reading- Text Features in non-fiction text.

Writing- Finding small moments to write about (Narrative writing)

Resource reading- diagraph sounds (reading and spelling) sh, ch, th, ph, wh, ck

Math resource- Module 1 lesson 11 Model division as the unknown factor in multiplication using arrays and tape diagrams.

Tuesday
Reading- "The Day the Crayons Quit"

Writing- Finding small moments to write about (Narrative writing)

Resource reading- diagraph sounds (reading and spelling) sh, ch, th, ph, wh, ck

Math resource- Module 1 lesson 12 Interpret the quotient as the number of groups or the number of objects in each group using units of 2

Wednesday
Reading- "The Day the Crayon Came Home"

Writing- Finding small moments to write about (Narrative Writing)

Resource reading- Spelling the ck sound (rule is ck is only used at the end of the word after a short vowel)

Math resource- Module 1 lesson 13 Interpret the quotient as the number of groups or the number of objects in each group using units of 3

Thursday
Reading- "Julia Morgan" with story questions

Writing- Finding small moments to write about (Narrative Writing)

Resource reading- spelling the ck sound review

Math resource- Module 1 lesson 14 Skip-count objects in models to build fluency with multiplication facts using units of 4


Friday
Reading- "Penguins in Motion" replacing headings.

Writing- Finding small moments to write about (Narrative Writing)

Resource reading- test

Math resource- Module 1 Lesson 15 Relate arrays to tape diagrams to model the commutative property of multiplication
