Teacher Cari Clousing - Special Education Teacher 6-8 grade  (Send e-mail)

Welcome to the 2018-2019 School Year
At Hickory Creek Middle School

Dear Parents and Guardians,
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Cari Clousing. I have been teaching Special Education for 17 years now, and have been with Frankfort 157c for eleven years. I am a graduate from Illinois State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education. I also received my Master’s from Saint Xavier University. I have two little girls, Hanna who is eleven and Kaitlyn who is eight. My husband and I live on my family’s horse farm in Frankfort. I grew up riding and showing horses and my love of horses has trickled down to my girls. Along with our love of horses, we have two beautiful German Shepard’s, 8 goldfish, 17 chickens and 2 bee hives. Yes, we are a busy family but we wouldn’t have it any other way. My family and I are truly dedicated to the school district and its residents. During the fall and spring I also coach Special Olympics gymnastics and track and field. If you are interested in learning more about these teams please feel free to contact me. Gymnastics will start up in December and Track and Field will begin in March.
I am anticipating an amazing year. There are so many exciting projects and endeavors to come. I passionately feel that the key to success in school is communication. Please help me by encouraging your child to always do their very best. With a strong support team, your child will strive to reach for the stars. I look forward to meeting with you and learning more about your child. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free contact me. cclousing@fsd157c.org or 815-469-4474 ex. 4156
