Hickory Creek Middle School Transportation

Bus Transportation
Please note that children are not permitted to ride another bus to or from school unless there is an emergency situation and permission has been granted from the school. This is for the safety of your child. Students are to use their designated stop only when boarding the bus in the morning and exiting the bus in the afternoon. If you would like to have your child's stop changed for any reason, please contact the school and we would be happy to accommodate your request. However, in the absence of any notification from a parent, students will be required to use only their designated stops each day. We appreciate your assistance with this as our main concern is delivering your children safely to and from school.

Student Drop-Off
The Visitor parking log (south parking lot closest to Laraway) is designated as our student drop-off area. For the safety of all students, please do not use the Main parking lot for dropping off car riders.

Student can be dropped off no earlier than 7:35 a.m. Parents are asked to drive along the curb and have children get out of their car only when reading the flashing light and sign. Due to the large number of vehicles dropping off students, we ask that parents only get out of their vehicle if absolutely necessary.

Student Pick-Up
The Visitor parking lot is designated as our car rider pick-up area. For the safety of all students, please do not use the main parking lot for picking up car riders.

Please use the turn around following the cones and curb. If your child does not come out of school in a few minutes, please exit the parking lot and follow the same procedures above. Please do not use the main parking lot for picking up car riders.

Tardy
Students arriving after 7:55 a.m. are considered tardy need to report to the Attendance Office (North side of the building) to receive a pass to enter class and be marked present for the day. Please make every effort to have your child to school no later than 7:50 a.m. so that classes may begin promptly at 7:55 a.m.
