About Me
I grew up on the Northside of Chicago and come from a family of teachers! My mom was a teacher, my sister is a teacher, and my sister-in-law is a teacher. I was born and raised a Chicago Cubs fan, but am now through marriage a Chicago White Sox fan. I love the beach and purple is my favorite color.
I live in New Lenox, IL with my husband and our two sons. I also have a dog named Cody. You will hear all about my kids and dog this year as we begin to write some fun stories in our writer's workshop.
In this class, we are a small community of teammates that help and accept one another. I believe that valuable learning occurs when children feel comfortable and happy in their classroom. I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you this school year!
